How this site works

Daytona Seawall Repair is an independent guide for waterfront homeowners in Daytona Beach and coastal Volusia County: seawalls, seawall caps, docks and boat lifts. It is not a contracting company, and it doesn't do the work itself.

What happens when you call or send the form?

Calls are answered weekdays, 9 to 6. After hours, leave your name, address and what's going on, and you'll get a call back first thing the next business day. Your details go to a local seawall and dock pro who works in Volusia County, who calls you back to talk through the job and, if it makes sense, come and look at it. Any price, contract and work are between you and that pro. There's no charge to call or to send the form.

Before you hire anyone, for any waterfront job, look the contractor up on the state's license search and ask who pulls the permits. The permits guide explains what to check.

Where do the facts on each page come from?

Every guide lists its sources at the bottom of the page, with links, so you can read them yourself. Rules come from the primary sources first: Florida Statutes, the Florida Administrative Code, Florida's environmental agency, NOAA tide stations, Volusia County and the cities' own documents.

Prices are rough 2026 national figures from Angi's and HomeGuide's cost guides, because no local price survey is published for seawall and dock work. The same job carries the same figure on every page, and the cost guide explains why a quote for your own wall can land well away from it.

When a source is old or comes from outside the county, the page says so. The city dock size limits, for example, come from the county's January 2020 survey, and the seawall warning signs come from a seawall owner's manual published by the City of Key Colony Beach, in the Florida Keys.

How are the pages kept current?

Each page shows the date it was last checked against its sources. When a rule changes or a cost guide publishes new figures, the page is updated and its date moves with it.

Who runs the site?

The company that operates Daytona Seawall Repair is named on the privacy page, along with what is kept when you call or send the form and who it is shared with.
